About our Speaker: Chip Conley is currently the Airbnb Strategic Advisor for Leadership and Hospitality. He Conley started his innovative boutique hotel company, Joie de Vivre Hospitality, at the age of 26 and grew it into the 2nd largest in the US.

After 24 years as CEO, and writing a few bestselling books, he joined Airbnb when the founders asked him to help turn a promising start-up into a global hospitality giant. As Head of Global Hospitality and Strategy, Chip’s leadership was instrumental to the company’s success.

In his new book, “Wisdom@Work: The Making of a Modern Elder” (September 2018), Chip shares lessons learned at Airbnb, where he became both mentor and intern to a boss more than 20 years his junior, and why he sees the intergenerational transfer of wisdom as critical in the modern workplace.
