They concluded that “RM has become more strategic and more centralized, but change has been slower than expected. Likewise, the use of mobile technology and social media as distribution channels for the industry remains a work in progress”

OUR PANELISTS
Carolyn Fredey is a hospitality revenue management professional at Marriott International and an adjunct professor at NYU. Her current role is focused on leading the revenue strategy for a portfolio of the Marriott Select Brands in NYC. Carolyn holds a M.M.H. from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, as well a B.A. from Florida State University. She enjoys teaching her students and employees the importance of pricing and a revenue management strategy that considers not just market share but long term brand integrity and profitability.

 

Dominik Gomez is the Regional Director of Revenue Management at Denihan Hospitality Group.He holds honors degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Hotel Institute Montreux and Florida International University. He has specialized in hotel operations and marketing with a focus on strategic pricing, revenue management, digital marketing and distribution. In various Director of Revenue roles, he has successfully lead revenue teams to profitability records. Having worked at city and resort hotels for luxury, lifestyle, independent and boutique hotel companies as well as for luxury hotel groups like Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons, he truly believes in and understands the importance of customer service to develop a thriving business with loyal and satisfied guests. He is a hands-on professional and is passionate about technology and revenue management. Mr. Gomez is an Adjunct Instructor and teaches Strategic Pricing and Revenue Management at NYU’s School of Professional Studies.

 

Milja Perkovic is a performance driven Director of Revenue Management and a motivated team player with extensive experience in day to day operations of various business units within the hotel industry. A high-energy professional, Milja consistently aims to exceed goals and expectations, operates with a high sense of urgency and thrives in a fast-paced setting. She previously was a Revenue Manager for Sage Hospitality and for the Park Lane Hotel.
