Deanne Kaczerski has been working in digital for over 20 years. She is currently the Digital Executive Editor for Travel & Leisure and Departures luxury brands. Previously, she was the Executive Editor, Digital for Martha Stewart where she was responsible for all content creation, social, and ideating editorial sales opportunities for a highly sought after legacy brand. She spent just over two years as the Executive Editor, Digital Innovation for InStyle, where she expanded the brand’s reach, launched Weddings, and grew the beauty vertical which positively affected InStyle’s sales. Also while at Time Inc., she was the founding Editorial Director for MIMI, Time Inc’s first digital-only beauty brand dedicated to beauty news, service, and inspiration. Before her role at Time Inc, she was the Digital Director for Marie Claire magazine, the Digital Director for ELLE magazine, and Senior Web Editor for CosmoGirl magazine. She also co-founded a digital-only beauty site for Hearst Corporation,, that pioneered the capability to personalize hair, skin, and trend-based content. Early in her career, while the Senior Editor at AOL RED, she created some of the web’s first fashion show videos and beauty tutorials to an engaged audience of young adults. Also while at AOL, she oversaw the creation of countless beauty market and seasonal fashion stories, maintained a highly-trafficked lifestyle blog, and helped develop advertiser-focused franchises and opportunities.

Derek Brewster CRME, began his hospitality career in his early twenties in restaurants and bars in his home Country of Canada. He also worked in Australia and New Zealand before moving to Calgary, Alberta. While studying hotel management at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, Derek began working at the Sheraton Suites Eau Claire. The next year he began working with the Director of Sales & Marketing on marketing strategies, PR initiatives and website content for the hotel his passion for revenue and marketing blossomed. After graduation, and combining his love of travel and developing passion for revenue management, Derek moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to become the opening Revenue Manager at the first SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. From there it was San Francisco and then New York City where he happily found himself at the Lotte New York Palace as Director of Revenue Management.

Derek sets high expectations for his team and believes in the freedom to collaborate and sometimes fail. In 2016 he was named Leader of the Year at the Lotte New York Palace. Ambitious and competitive, Derek is happiest when he is active – whether it is indoor cycling, working out, pretending to golf or simply taking his dog, Cooper, for walks in Central Park. He loves to travel and learn about new cultures. Other passions are music, films, art and design but he is most at home with his family and friends enjoying a glass of champagne and some great food.

Derek was named the 2017 HSMAIGNY Revenue Management Executive of the Year and, that same year, was recognized with the HSMAI Revenue Management Professional of the Year Award which was presented at HSMAI’s annual Revenue Optimization Conference.

Florence Quinn has nurtured and shaped Quinn into a strategic powerhouse of brand storytelling with work spaces in NYC (a Penthouse in the Garment District), Miami (a Storefront in Wynwood) and LA (a WeWork in Culver City. Her near-clairvoyant ability to anticipate trends and cut to what is important has sparked some of the most effective PR ideas and campaigns of our time. An artist at heart, Florence believes that great work has simplicity, inspiration and form. “Like the grid beneath a Jackson Pollack painting.”

As a heavily decorated winner of nearly every award available to PR professionals, she coaches and inspires her team to find the best strategic and creative solutions then measure them against the client’s brand and goals. Shark Tank-shark and business-mogul Barbara Corcoran agrees: “The amazing thing about Florence is that she’s an extremely creative individual, and on top of that she’s able to transfer that inspiration to the people who work with her so she’s able to build a giant creative team. Do you know how unusual that is in the PR business?”

A Connecticut native, Florence keeps letters received from Katharine Hepburn while at Smith College in her office as a reminder to be an independent thinker. She resides in Westport with her son and two dogs.

Deborah Surden currently serves as director of market management for Expedia, Inc. In this role Deborah leads a team responsible for the account management and strategy implementation for the lodging portfolio in the New York City market. Deborah first joined Expedia, Inc. as an area manager in December 2014.

Prior to joining Expedia, Inc. Deborah had over 10 years of experience in revenue management working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in several hotels in the Boston and New York metro areas. She got her start as a one of the first revenue management trainees in the company at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Her former role was as the director of revenue management at W New York.

Deborah graduated with distinction and with honors from The Pennsylvania State University’s Schreyer’s Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management. She was most recently the recipient of the 2017 Greater New York HSMAI Hospitality Professional of the Year. Deborah has also been awarded the 2015 Penn State Hotel & Restaurant Society Emerging Professional Award for Undergraduates.

Austin Watkins, With over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including 15 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Watkins has led the sales and marketing at several hotels and resorts spanning three countries. Most recently, Watkins was the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing based out of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Kona, Hawaii. In this role, Watkins was responsible for the sales and marketing efforts of Hualalai and strategic oversight of the Four Seasons Resorts Hawaii collection including four resorts on four unique Hawaiian Islands. Prior to Four Seasons, Watkins held a variety of positions with Hyatt Hotels and Ritz-Carlton properties. Beginning his career in hotel operations, Watkins quickly learned the logistics involved with running a successful property. Eventually, Watkins transitioned into sales roles, where his operational knowledge was evident in his achievement of several successful sales and marketing strategies.

A native of Orange County, Calif., Watkins enjoys several sports with a friendly competitive spirit. A personal source of pride is his completion in the 2016 IRONMAN World Championships. Outside of work, Watkins enjoys competing in triathlons, golf and spending time with his wife, Sonia, and his children, Taran and Kavi.
